Doctor of Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine

Dr. Lauren Parish began practicing Chinese medicine in 2016. They received a Master’s in Chinese medicine from OCOM in 2016 after which they completed a hospital internship in Nanjing, China. Lauren returned to school at ACTCM where she completed her Doctorate in 2021. 

Lauren specializes in trans and queer health. Chinese medicine treats the whole person and can be helpful for pain, digestive disorders, mental health, allergies, and many transition-related health concerns.

Lauren practices healthcare through a social justice lens, she is trained in survivor-centered care and Health At Every Size. Lauren is a white provider of Chinese medicine. As such, they are aware of their limitations and they practice with intention to be in service of the medicine.
